BBA and B.Com Department of DSCASC has organised FDP on “Contemporary Management & Commerce Education through Research Excellence” on 16/03/2022. The programme was inaugurated by dignitaries by lighting the lamp. Prof Sahanashree welcomed the dignitaries & gathering.
Dr. Sheril Michael Almeida discloses the "Philosophy of Management and Commerce Research". Mam elaborated the philosophy of research through the “Research Onion” diagram. Scope of social science research and how to promote research work at colleges and universities were focus points.

The key speaker for the webinar was Dr Prashant R. Nair Vice-Chairman-IQAC & Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
Dr Prashant R. Nair shared the vision for Higher Education in India – 2020 with a focus on Government initiatives for formulating a New Education Policy through the consultation process for an inclusive, participatory and holistic approach, which takes into consideration expert opinions, field experiences, empirical research, and stakeholder feedback.

The HR Club organized the event “HR Mind Maze” on 21st May 2025, themed “One Mind, Infinite Moves, Only One Winner!”. The event included a mix of individual and team activities where twelve students actively engaged in solving real-time HR challenges. Participants showcased analytical thinking, creativity, and effective communication throughout the event.

The Department of Management – BBA, under the HR Club YUKTHI, successfully organized an engaging event titled “Come, Connect, Crack!” on 8th May 2025. Fourteen students from various BBA sections participated enthusiastically. The event featured three dynamic rounds – a Kahoot Quiz testing HR and logical reasoning, a Balancing Balloon round encouraging teamwork, and a creative HR Meme round.

Summary:The Department of DSCASC celebrated “Kannada Rajyostava” on December 05-12-2024 with great enthusiasm. This Rajyotsava is celebrated to mark the formation of Mysore State (now Karnataka) on 1st November 1956. Kannadigas celebrate this day as Nadahabba, the day when all the Kannada-speaking regions of South India were merged into one state.

Another program on road safety awareness was organized by the BBA/BCOM department on 14/9/2024 for first semester BCom students. Mr Manjunath S ACP Bangalore South and M Manjunatha Circle Inspector of Kumarswamy layout, addressed the students on the impact of traffic violation and importance of traffic rules. 55 students participated in the program.

Summary:Cultural Committee (Ameya) along with Student Activity Cell (Sanchalana) of B.Com and BBA Organized an event “Bloomin Goodbyes” Farewell party for the batch of 2021-24 at Amphitheatre on 28th June 2024 Around 120 final year students had actively participated in the event, juniors performed various cultural program such as singing dancing and fashion show, Seniors were given a beautiful souvenir by juniors at the end of the event.
